No Need for Perfection

One of the biggest pitfalls of digital editing is not knowing when to stop. NLE technology makes it so easy to arrange and rearrange your clips that you could grow old trying them all. And once you get caught up enhancing your soundtracks and adding special effects, several festival submission deadlines could come and go before you think you're ready.

We know student filmmakers who are still working on their short subjects a year after the footage was in the can.
