Basic Image Clean-Up
Once you've finished with the main color and tonal correction in your image, you should thoroughly check your image for any flaws that you may want to remove. This can include anything from touching up dust spots on your image sensor to removing a crumpled soda can marring an otherwise perfect grassy lawn. Some items that you choose to remove may not necessarily be as objectionable as a piece of trash in the image, but after you've had a chance to consider your image for a while you may notice that they're just as distracting.
