Composition and Selective Focus
Once you have defined the perspective you want to use, you can guide the viewer’s eyes to a particular area in your scene by using various camera techniques. The most common methods for guiding the viewer are to use compositional balance (also known as the rule of thirds) and depth of field (which is controlled by your camera’s aperture setting) to help the eye move across the scene and find the focus transitions.
