Chapter Five. Capturing the Scene and Subject

This chapter focuses on the photographic elements in your composite images. Using the right photographic techniques can help you build a solid digital foundation for the Adobe Camera Raw and Adobe Photoshop CS4 processes covered later in the book. We cannot stress enough that although it’s possible to correct many problems with Photoshop, you can avoid problems by photographing your source material with the final composite in mind. Ultimately this should improve the quality of your project and save time as well.
