Chapter Five. Image Editing

Today, even nonphotographers are aware of the huge changes in photography brought about by digital image editing software. Aperture provides a full complement of state-of-the art digital image editing tools, and in this chapter we’re going to begin exploring them.

The techniques, concepts, and controls discussed in this chapter will work on any type of image, be it raw, Photoshop, JPEG, TIFF, or any of Aperture’s other supported formats. In the next chapter, you’ll learn more about the specifics of editing raw files in Aperture.
