A. Application Preferences

Illustrator has many different settings, or preferences, that control the program’s behavior. You can find these settings on the 12 panels of the Preferences dialog box. On Mac OS, you can open the Preferences dialog box by choosing Application > Preferences or by pressing Command-K. On Windows, you can open the Preferences dialog box by choosing Edit > Preferences or by pressing Ctrl-K.
