Chapter 11. Special Topic: C4ISR Architecture and the UML

In the Department of Defense (DoD) world, the Command, Communications, Control, Computers, Intelligence, and Reconnaissance Architecture Framework (C4ISR-AF) specifies a unifying set of views of architecture. However, this architecture was published about the same time as the original UML specification and so did not use the UML notations or semantics.
