Introduction

The purpose of the second part of this book is to answer the question: how is it possible to keep hundreds of people working interactively together for several days, and achieve meaningful results for their organization and themselves?

Chapters 4, 5 and 6 walk you through an example three day real time strategic change event. In doing so we explore each module on the agenda from three distinct perspectives, or “windows.” These are:

1. The “Process Window,” which outlines the elements or components of the agenda. This includes descriptions of specific tasks participants perform, and techniques for making these large group meetings productive and engaging.
