About the Author
Nasser Kehtarnavaz received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rice University in 1987. He joined the Department of Electrical Engineering at Texas A&M University in 1986 as an Assistant Professor where he later became an Associate Professor, and a Professor. He has been a Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Texas at Dallas since 2002. Dr. Kehtarnavaz’s research areas include signal and image processing, real-time imaging, DSP-based system design, biomedical image analysis, and pattern recognition.
