The TMS320C6000 DSP processor family has been introduced by Texas Instruments to meet high performance demands in signal processing applications. The objective of this book is to provide the know-how for the implementation and optimization of computationally intensive signal processing algorithms on the family of TMS320C6x DSP processors. In the previous version of the book named DSP System Design: Using the TMS320C6000, the lab exercises were based on the C6x EVM board characteristics and software. In this version named Real-Time Digital Signal Processing Based on the TMS320C6000, the lab exercises are redone on the C6x DSK board considering that DSK provides a more cost-effective learning platform.
