Predictive Analysis Library
The Predictive Analysis Library (PAL) defines functions that can be called from within SQLscript procedures to perform analytic algorithms. It includes the following classic and universal predictive analysis algorithms in nine data mining categories:
- Clustering
- Association
- Statistics
- Classification
- Time series
- Social network analysis
- Regression
- Preprocessing
- Miscellaneous
The algorithms in PAL were carefully selected as most of these algorithms are generally available in other database products. Also, these are frequently used and needed for SAP HANA applications.
The following are the prerequisites for using PAL:
- Install the latest SAP HANA SPS
- Install the AFL, which includes the PAL
