CASE STUDY: CURATING IN THE CORPORATION

What makes a successful organizational learning environment? Can a technical learning environment be created by nontechnical learning and development (L&D) specialists? These were questions I set out to answer as part of a team of three learning professionals providing technical learning solutions for more than 6,000 globally dispersed software engineers. About half of these engineers were located at five major sites, with the remaining employees distributed across many smaller sites. In addition to this dispersed workforce, the organization comprises several different divisions with a variety of job roles and learning needs.
