Abstract
Retransmission has been known ineffective for interactive video transmission over the Internet. This paper challenges this view by presenting several retransmission-based error control schemes that can be used for interactive video applications. In particular, the schemes do not require any artificial extension of control time and play-out delays, and thus are suitable for interactive applications.
