About the Author

Michael Wilson is a widely-known investment journalist and author with more than 25 years of experience in the field of personal finance and professional financial services. He has written around 20 books on business and investment topics for the Financial Times, the Longman Group, Dorling Kindersley and Euromonitor. Professional clients have included Nasdaq Europe, the Securities Institute, Goldman Sachs, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, and the American Association for Investment Management and Research.

But he generally gets more fun out of writing on tax and investment subjects for private investors, mainly through magazines such as Personal Finance, What Investment, or the Zurich Club investment newsletter, where he is investment director.
