Rendering custom Android view components

A major reason why React Native is so popular today is its ability to render truly native UI components. With native UI components on Android, we are leveraging not only the GPU rendering power, but we get the native look and feel of the components. This includes not only font and colors, but animations such as the ripple effect as well.
