Aesthetics in publishing

Abstract

The chapter focuses on the artistic identity of the book, printed or digital, from Renaissance to our Digital Age with the aim to discuss the importance of the aesthetics in publishing, to introduce a methodological approach for the understanding of current trends and to propose new methods and strategies for product development, marketing and reader engagement in the artistic identity of the book.
