Safety and using electronics
This book encourages you to experiment and connect your own circuits to the general-purpose input/output Raspberry Pi GPIO pins. This is an excellent way to learn about electronics and software at the same time. However, it is important to remember that the GPIO pins are unprotected, and if wired incorrectly, can easily be damaged or even cause the Raspberry Pi to stop working altogether.
