Canty in S entwickelt als Begleitcode zu Davison & Hinkley (1997), Bootstrap
Methods and Their Applications [Cambridge Series in Statistical and
Probabilistic Mathematics, No. 1], Cambridge University Press. Die R-Portierung stammt von
Brian Ripley. Funktionen, die laut R-Dokumentation nur in Zusammenhang mit den Übungen in
Davison und Hinkley interessant und nicht für den allgemeinen Gebrauch gedacht sind, werden
hier nicht berücksichtigt.
