This exercise is designed to help each team member understand his or her mood, as well as identify the moods of others on the team. It also helps team members to be candid about feelings, which can lead to building trust and openness.

Why Is This Important?

Moods of team members will impact the performance of the team. Why? Because (1). moods are contagious, (2). moods affect how people relate to one another, and (3). moods affect the decision-making and energy of the team.
