Your Mindset/Role Model

First, as the team leader, you must have the mindset that your team members want to further their understanding about issues that affect the team. You can be most effective as facilitator if you appeal to people’s ideals. Most people believe, and will articulate, that they have the best interests of the team in mind. However, sometimes one’s daily behavior doesn’t live up to that intention. Your job as the team leader is to help people live up to their best intentions. By appealing to their best intentions, you set the individuals and the team up for a successful and positive experience.
