Additional Resources

Three hundred-odd pages are hardly enough to do justice to a field as rich as quantum physics. Fortunately, there are many more resources out there that present this fascinating topic, each in its own way. Here we recommend a few excellent references, at various levels of detail, for anyone who wants to learn more.

In addition, we provide in this appendix an “eyewitness account” of the historical development of quantum physics. In chronological order, we will cite many of the original papers that established quantum physics as a science and demonstrated some of its most important applications.
