LOOPING AND REALLOCATION MATRIX

The practical steps involved in the Looping are given below:

Step 1 → Put a ‘Tick’ mark in the most negative Opportunity Cost Cell.In case of tie, any one may be selected arbitraily. Preferably select that one with which corners points are minimum.
 
Step 2 Draw at least four lines in the form of a rectangle covering at least four Cells out of which One Cell will be the ticked Cell and the rest will be the Allocated Cells. This is called ‘Loop’. In other words all the corners (except the starting corner which lies in most negative unallocated cell) of the Loop will lie in the allocated cells.
