Concluding Remarks and Next Steps

Project management has value. That has been clearly shown in this research. While the overwhelming majority of practitioners agree with that statement, prior claims have not been substantiated by academic research. At best, these claims have been “supported” by questionable, anecdotal information. By quantifying the value of project management with this more rigorous and objective study, its benefits become clear and translatable across a multitude of platforms and languages.
