When the first edition of Quantifying the User Experience was announced in 2012, I ordered a copy. I knew the authors, Jeff and Jim, as frequent contributors to the User Experience (UX) research literature and they were both reviewing editors for the Journal of Usability Studies while I was its Editor in Chief. I always sent them the manuscripts to review that made heavy use of statistics.
