Summary

Throughout this chapter we tried to accomplish two things. First, we used our opening experiences to show how autoethnography might look and feel—that is, to demonstrate autoethnographic “products.” Second, we discerned characteristics of autoethnography as a research method to describe the process we used to assemble these products. In so doing we worked to show what autoethnographic research and representation is and does.
