Chapter 6. Configuring the QlikView Publisher

Without a QlikView Publisher license, the Reload Engine must sit on the same server as the QlikView Server, and it can only perform a reload of a QlikView document in the server folders with a restricted set of triggers. When we have a QlikView Publisher license, the Reload Engine transforms to being the QlikView Distribution Service (QDS), and we are no longer tied to the QlikView Server for reloads.
