Summary

In this chapter, we pushed a lot of features in our Notes application, and we should now be able to leverage the Cloud Storage and use it to store and serve static contents from our applications. We saw the Images API in action, and we should now know how to deal with requests that take a long time, and we also learned how to schedule recurrent tasks. In the last part, we delved into the Mail API capabilities and we learned how App Engine provides a turnkey solution to send and receive e-mail messages.

In the next chapter, we will take a look at the performance of our application and see where and how we can improve, using advanced features of components we are already using together with more services provided by App Engine.
