Time

Time is a mystery. You can’t see it, touch it, hear it or smell it. But most people believe in it. They think there’s a grand clock ‘out there’ that keeps the correct time. When, in reality, there is no such thing. In fact, time is no-thing. But in our world, it’s everything. Our entire existence is organised around time.

When we take a close look at time we see that it’s a construct of the human mind. It’s nothing more than a concept, an idea, to describe the process of change. Think about it. How do we count time? We count it by observing the changing sun, moon or solstice. But these ‘comings’ and ‘goings’ don’t fit into equally spaced units, so we fudge the figures to impose an order on a world that’s not as ordered as ...
