Mastery

To master anything takes time, focus and energy. It’s a long and arduous road. In fact, it’s a never-ending road. And it’s more of an ideal than an actuality. There’s always a higher level to which you can aspire. So why bother? For some the motivation comes from the need to be recognised as an expert, be the best, or gain respect from others. But there’s more to mastery than a coveted title, and it has rewards far beyond status.

Understand: to master the ‘outside’ world you need to master your ‘inside’ world. In other words, you need mental discipline.
