They say the body is a temple. Nonsense. It’s a bloody miracle. Tell me: where on earth can you find a machine that can digest food and transform the nutrients into energy, circulate fluids to nourish and cleanse, reproduce and recreate, then call itself a temple?

When you think about what the body can do, it’s astonishing. And, perhaps, the greatest of all its feats is its ability to clean and heal itself. Sure, we have cars that convert fuel into energy, circulate water to cool and cleanse. But where can you find a machine that has a system to patch up its own scratched bodywork?
