Energy

Energy determines our capacity for action in the world. We use it for everything we do, from reading a book to cooking dinner to making love. Clearly, the more energised we feel, the more fully we can live. But how can we increase our energy levels?

Good healthy nutrition and the air we breathe are our main sources of energy. Essentially, food combines with oxygen to provide us with fuel. However, just like a car that combines petrol with air to power the engine, the food-air combination produces damaging exhaust fumes (or, more technically speaking, free radicals). I’ll explain all of this in a bit, but, before I do, understand this.
