Focus

On a daily basis we’re bombarded with information, opportunities and tasks that compete for our attention. So often we find ourselves trying to do more than one thing at a time – which is actually impossible. Our mind can only focus on one thing but it will jump continuously between each thing. And those things are not always what we want to be focusing on. We tend to start one job and break off intermittently as we remember the other things we should be doing.

There’s a lot of stuff that can distract us in life. But to get things done we need the ability to move and sustain our attention. It’s amazing how much of our life we waste thinking about the past or worrying about the future. Scattered attention makes us unproductive. ...
