Exploring the Puppet configuration file

Let's take a look at the default configuration that ships with Puppet Open Source. By default, you can find the config file in the /etc/puppet/puppet.conf directory. The configuration file is as follows:

ssldir=/var/lib/puppet/ssl
rundir=/var/run/puppet
