Writing manifests in pure Ruby

¿ Hablas español? Learning languages can be fun, but not everyone wants to do it. Puppet has sometimes been criticized for requiring you to write manifests in its own dedicated configuration language, rather than an existing general-purpose language such as Ruby.

Not everyone considers this a drawback. The computer scientist Dennis Ritchie remarked:

"A language that doesn't have everything is actually easier to program in than some that do."
