Protecting Your Information through Nondisclosure Agreements

A thorough employment agreement includes provisions prohibiting employees from disclosing a company's confidential information, but such clauses can also be presented to employees to sign as standalone agreements or can be placed in employee manuals (as long as employees are required to sign the manuals). See Figure 19-4 for a simple nondisclosure clause that employees can be required to sign.
