Implementing and Evaluating Project Strategy
Most traditional textbooks on project management deal well with project implementation. We do not repeat that topic here. Instead, this section deals primarily with the control systems used by project management to ensure that the strategies developed earlier are well executed and re-evaluated and updated on a continuous basis. As such, Chapter 7 deals with risk management tools to handle the negative influence on project strategy. Chapter 8 then picks up on how to reevaluate the project strategy based on emerging opportunities and measuring project implementation against the initial strategic project objectives and perspectives of a Balanced Scorecard approach.
