  • Bugs in the course material pages themselves: Even with rigorous testing you may have errors in course pages or links that can create nightmares for e-learners. One of the big temptations in trying to keep e-learning projects on schedule is to skimp on testing time. Don’t yield to this temptation; the consequences are too great.

  • Incompatibilities with certain Web browsers: You may decide to require only two or three Web browsers and specify minimum version levels. Your development and test plans need to take into account the time required to test on all “authorized” browsers.
