Is Project Management Software for You?

If you are already adept at using project management software, such as Microsoft Project, then you will probably want to use it to enter your project activities and create sequencing networks. Increasingly, teams creating Web-based applications like e-learning products are using such software for creating the initial plans and for storing actual results for later reference, but they tend to rely more heavily on simpler methods of tracking progress. Figure 4-2 offers an example of an activity sequencing network for an e-learning project created using Microsoft Project’s custom formatting features.
