Defining the Progress Communication Plan

Every e-learning project definition must include a table listing all levels of stakeholders for the project and the specific progress reports they each will receive. The frequency of each progress report and the depth of detail included in it should be appropriate to each level of stakeholder. Executive sponsors will not want to see progress reported in minute detail and will often only need to look at reports once or twice a month; your team members need to see both the big picture and the microview, requiring weekly—even daily—updates.
