16 Making change stick

MOST PROJECTS ARE DISBANDED after implementation is completed, but change management does not end there. Once the change is live, the change management emphasis shifts from effecting the change to sustaining it. What most organisations and projects fail to recognise/plan/budget for is the time and effort required for the change to become embedded and ‘business-as-usual’.
