Step 4.3 Collect information and reports

As your project progresses you need to collect various information so that you can determine what you should be doing as the project manager. If you are working on a project, by yourself and for yourself, then this will happen automatically as the project goes along. However, when there are many people working on a project, you need to put effort into collecting information from them as the work progresses.

Some information will come to you naturally on a day-to-day basis as you interact with people and ask them to do things.
