Planning for Small Projects
Defining the work and identifying the resources necessary to complete the project are important. Planning allows you to define what you are going to do, when you are going to do it, and how the project goals will be accomplished. Unfortunately, planning is often viewed as tedious and time-consuming. The response to planning is often that there is no time to plan or that planning is not needed. Either of these responses will set the project manager up for problems later on in the project.
