THE THREE KEYSTO SUCCESS
This book describes a system, a set of tools and procedures for running projects that will help you keep your jobs on time and on budget. But notice that sneaky little word help in the preceding sentence. The Project Management for Profit system is a human system, not a mechanical one. It depends on what people—those imperfect, opinionated, stubborn biological entities—decide to say and do, day in and day out. If they choose, people can find a way to ignore or screw up any system. On the plus side, they can also figure out how to pitch in and make it work better.
