JAVA APPLETS

Right when computers were invented, programs started running on them. There were stand-alone programs. Then Internet came into existence. In a short time frame, it became popular. The world got transformed into a global village. However, initially, people could see only static text while browsing the Internet. There was no action and no dynamism. There was necessity of the small programs running while browsing. To fulfil this need, Java applets were introduced.
