In this chapter, we’ve accomplished a lot. First we went through the specs for a task-management app built on two platforms. Then we talked about what a good sound design might be for those apps. We built a patch that employed FM synthesis to make a configurable patch with an API designed to be used by an app employing libpd.

Then we went through the code for each app and saw how to initialize, configure, and control Pd using libpd’s native API for each platform. I hope this has shown you how powerful the combination of Pure Data and libpd can be for your apps and games, and I hope you can make use of them soon!
