If you’ve done any web programming, you know there are differences in the various web browsers to overcome with code and design gymnastics. Dealing with sound in browsers is no different. This isn’t a book about web programming, but since our project in this chapter delivers sound to the Web, it would be good to touch on some of the issues with sound on the Web before we go on to the code.
