Sound on Mobile Devices

As mentioned, a lot of the design principles in the preceding section apply very directly to the Web, but may also apply to mobile apps. The main difference between the Web and mobile in this regard is the attention of the user. Almost all mobile operating systems have only one foreground application and limited screen space, so it’s likely that you have more of the user’s attention than on the Web. Again, always consider context.
