Data as a Hosted Service: SQL Server Data Services
Having looked at ADO.NET Data Services, do you find the idea of a Web Service built exclusively for data access compelling? Does the convenience and versatility of the REST standard and its ability to support direct queries from the browser strike you as elegant? Would you like to have such an interface to your data and have that data be hosted in Microsoft’s own data centers without the need to host the database servers and Web servers yourself?
