A Book for Developers

If you’ve gotten this far, we’ve already established that you’re a developer (or, at least, that’s one of the hats you wear). In tailoring the content of this book, there are a few other assumptions that we make about you as well.

First, we expect that you’re already knowledgeable in relational database concepts—whether that experience is with SQL Server or non-Microsoft platforms. As such, you already know about tables, views, primary and foreign key relationships, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
