Run the BasicDrive Service

Before running your BasicDrive service, you need to ensure that the Create robot is configured and connected to your development machine. You can connect the Create through a USB cable or a Bluetooth module. If you have not already done so, refer now to the instructions for configuring a Create robot in Appendix B.

Tip

If you attempt to execute the service and all you see is a command-line window briefly, but no Windows form, then you need to check the following:

  1. You are running the project from a folder within the MSRS installation folder, such as C:\Microsoft Robotics Studio (1.5)\Samples\BasicDrive.
